Stephen J. DavisEVP, Chief Content Officer
Stephen J. Davis serves as President of Hasbro Studios and Entertainment and Licensing for Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS). His responsibilities include oversight of Hasbro Studios, the Los Angeles-based entertainment division responsible for all television, film and commercial production and development as well as international distribution, where Hasbro Studio shows are placed in more than 180 territories.
Davis is also responsible for Hasbro’s Global Licensing and Publishing division, focused on brand building and monetization for the more than 1,500 well-known brands that make up Hasbro’s portfolio.View More
Prior to joining Hasbro in 2009, Davis was CEO of Family Entertainment Group LLC and was also President of Mobile and Online Media at NASDAQ-listed digital media company, InfoSpace. Prior to that, he served as President of Granada America, a unit of one of Europe's leading television production and broadcasting companies.
Earlier in his career, Davis was President and CEO of Carlton America, a leading worldwide producer and distributor of television programming and formats that later merged with Granada. He came to Carlton from Hamdon Entertainment, a joint venture between Carlton and Studio Hamburg (NDR). Davis serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of The National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE), is a member of the Board of Directors for the Hub, the Hollywood Radio & Television Society (HRTS), the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Zimmer Children's Museum. He is a trustee of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, as well as Wilshire Boulevard Temple and serves on the Advisory Council of the School of Communications, Radio, Film and Television at the University of Texas at Austin.
Finn ArnesenSenior Vice President, International Sales
Distribution and Development
Veteran children’s programming executive Finn Arnesen joined Hasbro Studios as senior VP, international distribution and development, in April 2010. In his role, Arnesen manages Hasbro Studios’ global content sales, distribution, channel and program development activities outside of North America, extending across television, online and other emerging media.
Previously, Arnesen served as senior vice president of original series and international development at TBS International, where his duties included leading multi-platform programming, production and development; joint venture strategic acquisitions; distribution; and deal-making partnerships.View More
During his 17-year tenure at TBS, Arnesen generated higher ratings and revenues while overseeing programming and development for the Turner-owned networks, the start up and management of Cartoon Network Studios London and program management of Cartoon Network Europe as part of his broad portfolio.
At Cartoon Network Europe, Arnesen commissioned and executive produced its first wholly owned U.K.-produced seriesSkatoony, an unprecedented animated game show with real-life kid contestants. The show reflected his global efforts to expand the kids’ genre and audience with new live-action formats produced through Turner alone and European co-production partners.
Prior to Turner, Arnesen held posts at ScreenSport, the European Sports Network and Sky Sports. He has a Bachelor of Arts honors degree in French and drama from the University of Warwick.
Vice President, International Sales Distribution
Based in the London office, Nina heads up the international content distribution arm of Hasbro Studios overseeing sales of the portfolio of kids animation, live action and formats across all platforms.
Prior to joining the company, Nina spent 10 years at Tinopolis-owned producer Sunset+Vine where, as Head of Sales and Marketing, she worked with global names such as Gillette, Exxon Mobil, Allianz, Toyota, Nissan, Philips Shavers and Martini on the creation of branded content media solutions for linear and non- linear broadcast across the world. Previously, she served as Sales Manager at Television Corporation International and Production Manager at Imagicians Television.
Gustavo GomezSales Director, Latin America
Gustavo Gomez joined Hasbro Studios as Sales Director in 2014. He is responsible for the distribution of the Studio’s animated content to all media platforms in Latin America and the Caribbean. He is also responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business operation in the region.
Before joining Hasbro Studios, Gomez served as Sales Manager at Warner Bros. International TV Distribution where he was responsible for content distribution and sales development for FTA Broadcasters and analyzing SVOD negotiations for Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to WBITVD, Gomez worked at MTV Networks Latin America as an Account Executive in Advertising Sales managing local teams in Colombia, Venezuela, and Central America. He began his career at Sony Pictures Entertainment as a Contract Analyst.
Nuno ISales Director, Asia Pacific
Nuno has spent the past decade living and working for some notable sports and entertainment companies - MP and Silva in Singapore and Endemol Asia in Hong Kong respectively. Prior to joining Hasbro Studios he was the Head of Sales and Acquisitions for Electric Sky in Asia, he set up and ran the Asian distribution business of the UK company from Hong Kong. He also brings knowledge of children’s licensing from time spent at Chorion Asia Pacific where he was based in Sydney working closely with nostalgic children's brands such as Mr. Men, Noddy, Olivia and Paddington Bear.
Nuno’s distribution experience and his broadcaster relationships further strengthen Hasbro Studios capacity to exploit its iconic brands and programmes in the region. He manages key territories such as Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and the emerging markets of Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. The appointment of Nuno as the Director of Sales in Asia Pacific brings us in line with our global goal to make Hasbro Studios a more region-centric company providing local support and expertise to assist our clients and broadcasters.
Sheetal MerchantSales Director, EMEA
Based in the London office Sheetal manages rights distribution of Hasbro Studios content across all platforms in France, Eastern Europe, Turkey, Middle East, Africa, Israel, the Baltics, Greece and Cyprus.
With extensive experience in sales and distribution of TV program rights spanning over 16 years, Sheetal has a strong background in kids and family programming and management of international children's brands.
Before joining Hasbro Studios in 2012 Sheetal was Sales Manager for Latin America and Spain at Zodiak Kids. Prior to that she served as Sales Manager at HIT Entertainment responsible for Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Indian Sub Continent where she managed well loved preschool properties such as Bob the Builder, Thomas the Tank Engine and Barney.
